FRENCH TULLE WEDDING DRESS WITH SOFT SHIMMER
The dress was ordered in July 2019, received in October 2019, worn for 10 minutes during a final “fitting” (no alterations), and placed in a dress bag until shipment to you (the buyer!).
Has a boho glam feel which was the intended style of our wedding. My husband and I’s wedding was canceled due to COVID so we got married at the courthouse and I never got to wear this beautiful dress. I was so happy with my purchase and I knew it was “the one” (you can see my ugly crying face in the picture + my big smile!) Touches of pearl work add a dewy glow along the attached belt and wide straps, creating a plunging V-neckline and open V-back—also mirroring the angled side cutouts for a balanced, modern look. This wedding gown has a soft layer of tulle that falls gently over the sheath silhouette, featuring lace appliques for a touch of vintage detailing. Layers of French tulle lay under the French laces for an added dimension that is dreamy and soft.
Size 12/14 & 40C at the time of purchase. The chest area felt perfect with no bra but would recommend pasties or another similar nipple cover. Dress tapers in at the waist, best suited for midsize/hourglass body type. The dress is very fitted to the body with lace detailing and has a gorgeous flowing layer of tulle with floral appliqués on it.
The bodice has beading work that follows the trim of the dress. The armpit area has flesh-colored mesh triangles so the beading isn’t sitting there scratching you (definitely a huge perk to the gorgeous beading!)
