I bought this dress brand new at a Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns and then didn't wear it (still brand new). It has been hanging in my closet in a hanging bag since I purchased it just over 2 years ago. It will need pressing, as there are now some wrinkles in the skirt, but nothing too significant.
The dress is white satin. V neck cut in both the front and the back. There is ruching around the waist that comes together in the front underneath the bust with a vertical strip of sparkly beading. There is one layer of crinoline under the skirt as well as a lining layer under the crinoline (for a fuller/more poofy skirt, you would need to add a crinoline slip under the skirt). The train is approximately 8" longer than the front hem of the dress at its longest point. It's a very simple yet classic dress, which is why I bought it.
I am 5'7", 36" bust and would not have needed many alterations on this dress at all. A little bit of taking in around my chest, but with a small heel, the hem would have been perfect.
